Shortly after leaving the Harrisburg rally on Wednesday, myself and my buddy decided we needed some fine American cuisine to make the trek home. We quickly arrived at bastion of Americanism known as “Waffle House”. When I walked in, the incredible staff sat me at the highest seat of the high bar. They knew they were in good company. Shortly after I ordered my meal, a Sausage Egg & Cheese bowl, with a Diet Coke of course, this young father and son walked into the establishment. As our fine grub was being delivered to the bar, the father spoke, asking if we just came from Harrisburg. I informed him that we did, and that I was one of the pre-rally program participants. His eyes shot open in excitement, and he immediately introduced me to his young son, who was so excited to see the President. I shook his hand and took a photo as the whole Waffle House sat in awe.
