I want to take leave from my daily work and take a round trip around Uganda. 10 days probably. I need travel companions with great camera skills (video and still) and good content creators. What we come up with, we share proceeds if any. All travel costs on me. Anyone?
My old man Tony Otoa Snr who is visiting woke me up so early this morning like he used to in my high school to go for mass. Mans prefers early mass. Now we are here at church waiting for the next mass. One hour wait! We have stocked newspapers for the wait. Happy Easter 😎
This driver needs to stop breaking traffic rules and act arrogant at the same time. Road rage has never helped anyone. Being in a government vehicle doesn’t give you the right to act reckless!!! What parastatal is this?
Remember Grace? The guy I took for oil and gas welding certification? Well, we opened up a company while we wait for oil & gas and now we have started fabricating windows, doors and grills. No more imports. Customised to the customer's grilling plans. Let me know if you need one
I would advise different. Young Queens and Kings, become so good at what you do. While at it, try out running some side businesses that can afford you what you want. Park wherever you want. If the so called boss has an issue, leave that toxic hole and go shine elsewhere. Stop
Young people. I know you like good things & showing off a bit. It’s natural at that age. From experience, my advice however; never buy the same or better car than your boss & park near his office parking lot day in day out. Thank me later.
If you can rent, please rent. If you can build, please build. If you are good at alternative investments, please invest. But, remember to mind your own business. Let people do what works for them. Joy, happiness and success have various formulas.
I have registered my presence at my local Kafunda deep down in Butogota, Kanungu. I have informed Zipora the Kafunda lady to make sure the fridges are running 24 hours. I have also asked her to summon the reserve forces I usually chill with. We have work to do. 🤣😎😎

My father gave me his diaries to read. What a man!! I have found an entry of the day I went to the UK to hustle. 2004!! I never had a clue what was going to happen to me. Today I look back and I am filed with gratitude. He gave me 40k to change to £10. This marked the beginning

You fail to understand the context. For you it's about winning on the court. Phenomenal people see beyond the game and the court. And next time you call people "pretty average", show us your excellent performance. Otherwise, take a seat
Years ago, I went to hustle in the UK. We called it kyeyo. My first job was at a car wash. I hated the cold and looked for an indoor job. The kitchen at TGI Fridays in Croydon was my new location. I started off at the dishwasher and gradually rose up the ranks and ended on the
I personally think government should just turn TRUCK days into PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. You can’t have the whole city littered with army trucks blocking movement. From kololo to Sheraton area, to Serena etc. How is business supposed to go on? Very frustrating
I laugh when I see corporates acting super important bordering arrogance because of their jobs/titles. Let us be clear, for as long as it’s not your company, stay humble because tomorrow you could be out and someone new taking your position. Humility costs $0.

I am 40 tomorrow!!!!! Well in on the 4th floor. The last 39 years were warm up.
It is now action time. Let life begin. Hello from Kidepo National Park.
10 years ago I failed my medicals and almost failed to get my job at Total E&P at the time. My cholesterol levels were high, my blood pressure was high. I was way above my BMI at 83kg.
Today, I am 70kg. Perfect BMI. Thanks to my morning rituals. Thank God 🙏🏿

Today the Central Bank of the Otoa Republic allowed the savers to break their 2020 piggy banks. Of course savings were affected by the global covid pandemic. 2021 promises to be a better savings and investment year. The savers now need investment coaching.

I was worse than this in my shack in Namuwongo years ago. Gratitude to God and the people who believed in me! No situation is permanent my sister. Never downplay or underestimate humble beginnings. They are the best motivators

When I see govt officials saying Sekitoleko was arrested for trying to tarnish Uganda’s image abroad, I am left very confused. Our daily corruption and injustice stories seem normalised that we had to overlook them and fish out a new problem, image. I was Ssekitoleko in 20yrs ago
My logistics manager Okello has cracked me up this morning. He has told me about his new barbershop and the massage that comes after the haircut. This was the conversation.

This life!! Even before you are underground, a replacement is made.
This reminded me of a former work place. We lost a boss at about 5am, convened at 9am for a minute of silence and by 12pm, his portrait was put down and a new one was put up with the new boss’s picture.

Social media can be a cesspool of toxicity. Watch out who you follow and what you engage in. Do not fill your subconscious mind with negativity and stuff that will never help you grow. Put your mental health above anything else. Most importantly limit your time online in 2022 🙏🏿
Remember when I said being academically smart doesn’t necessarily translate into success in real life? Well, you can now add that going to school doesn’t necessarily emancipate your mind. Some people will keep kneeling.

My colleague at Stanbic was sad when she met my logistics manager Okello removing my office items in boxes into the car yesterday. When she asked him what the plan was, Okello responded with, “we are taking him back to lira!”

My dad was not happy about me hustling and refusing to go to school. When I tried to study at Makerere uni after 3 years of hustle, I quit in my second semester. I went back to school after 6 years. I made it a point to fly my dad to my graduation in the UK.

Ugandans need a consumer protection agency to protect us from the discrepancy in nsenene prices. Call it The Nsenene Watchdog.

NAM is NAMing for real. Stuck at the Fairway lights for over 40 mins. What has been interesting is our chaps who thought they are ‘big’ having their convoys stopped and told to fall in line.

I would like to remind you that the country registered double digit inflation a few days ago. Tighten your belts otherwise it’s a tough few months to go. This is worrying for millions of Ugandans and we should be concerned.
3 years ago. My fish farming journey. I have learnt alot mostly from my failure. Market was a problem after the confusion in South Sudan my intended market. My fingerings were not the best, I wasted alot of money on feeds. But ultimately I learnt and came back strong.

I just met a guy who has been speaking all crazy and evil about me. We had never met before so practically he didn’t know me. I went over and gave him a great bear hug and introduced myself. He was speechless. I told him we should grab a drink soon. What stoicism has done to me!!
I have learnt as I grow older not to waste time thinking about what I can’t control. Things like people disappointing me, the weather, traffic, a lost deal, fake people, gossipers etc. I now invest my energy in good vibes, genuine people, ideas for growth and fattening the wallet
I would love to meet with Spyda MC. Who can do a connect? He is inspirational and I believe he is what we needed on the Ugandan music scene. I am told he has been around for a while.
Jinja town breaks my heart! I grew up in this town when things were great. Today, it’s a sorry tale of messed up infrastructure. This is Madhavani road that used to be an amazing road. Most properties are run down. City full of potholes especially around the mayor’s office. 🤦🏿♂️
Last week it was high bus fares. This week we are talking high hospital costs. I wonder whether any arrests have been made for hospital owners or the bus comrades were easy to bundle onto police trucks. For as long as we can’t sort the mess, let’s stop playing for the gallery.
Remember the bald headed chap a few weeks back, well my hair is finally back. I am back from my period of meditation and I must say, y’all must try this one day. I took time to introspect much about life. Allow me share some of my thoughts with you. I hope this is meaningful 1/6
