They have analyzed the concrete conditions of their society and have effectively and thatโs why they are engaging in peopleโs war in the country side and leading mass movements within the urban areas. It seems thereโs a misunderstanding of what a protracted peopleโs war is. The peasantry doesnโt โlead.โ The peasant movement, which has had a long history of rebellions due to the intense contradictions of feudalism, is the result of conditions being ripe for armed struggle. This is why I say itโs important to analyze the objective conditions. Marxism is the concrete analysis of the objective conditions and itโs historical. All comrades who have learned from the successes of the peopleโs wars have learned that objectively, the peasantry is the greatest ally of the proletariat in the semi-feudal context. Itโs not just a โpeasant war.โ This is a distortion that many people have. The communist leadership over the peasant movement is what concretely enables the peasant movement, in which the conditions are ripe for armed struggle, under the leadership of the proletariat.

Iโm always willing to hear concrete criticism from comrades on former and on-going peopleโs war. Concrete criticism is healthy for us to understand and learn from errors of the past so we donโt make the same mistake again. Practice-Theory-Practice. But Iโm gonna emphasize concrete. And I have an abundance of respect for my Hoxhaist comrades. But if ones argument is limited to, โoh the Philippines should gone the Hoxhaist rout rather MLM, now theyโre gonna inevitably fall into revisionism.โ Then this is respectfully not an analysis of the objective conditions comrades.
China provided support for communists in the Philippines. Sison was even trained by Chinese communists during the cultural revolution, and he met Mao himself. Now Iโm gonna ask you, have you done any research of the objective situation in the Philippines? This is important if you want to us analysis to actually be based in a Marxist one. It was post-Mao China which ended support with the Philippines comrades.
