Due to popular demand… here it is: Video of criminals being bested by a criminal. While robbing a check cashing place, 3 armed suspects had their getaway vehicle stolen by a 4th suspect. We can’t make this stuff up, folks.

After a guilty plea, we are releasing a portion of the body cam footage from last December when a DUI driver crashed through a scene and struck 2 police officers and 2 firefighters.

In an unexpected and ironic twist: while the trio was robbing the business, a 4th criminal stole their getaway vehicle… which could have already been stolen. We don’t know. If we get a good description, we’ll share it here.

Officer Keadle doesn’t give breaks the 1st time & certainly not to repeaters. He cited this driver 2x in <30 mins for 30 over on the same road. Starting 3/18 parts of Tower & HWY 2 are High Traffic Hazard Zones which mean 2x the fine (or 4xs in this guy’s case). Details on FB.

CONFIRMED: The suspect was shot and killed by police after a nearly 5-hour standoff.

Detectives are working a home break-in from overnight in the 5300 block of E 64th Ave. Resident says he was attacked by an unknown intruder whom he consequently shot and killed. No additional details at this time. Deceased will be IDed by Adam’s Co Coroner.
SERIOUS INJURY CRASH: vehicle traveling WB on E 88th veered into oncoming traffic, struck minivan w/2 people & ended in a creek. All 4 juveniles in at-fault vehicle were ejected, at least 1 is critical. All 6 involved in crash taken to area hospitals.

Large police presence in the 6200 block of Glencoe for a shooting. It appears no one was injured, and CCPD patrol officers have several individuals detained. Detectives are in route to continue the investigation.

One adult male has been transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. The suspect has not been identified at this time.

We are relieved this ordeal is over. More than 2 years after he shot at one of our officers and murdered his neighbor, Andrew Reineke is sentenced to 50 years in prison.
CCPD Detectives are investigating a suspicious death in the 7300 block of Oneida Drive.

18-year-old shot inside home in 9700 block of E 112th Pl. Initial reports: teen was with 2 other teenage friends when another occupant reported hearing a gunshot. Victim has been transported to the hospital; his condition is unknown.
