ON THIS DAY IN DOCTOR WHO COMICS HISTORY: In 1965, “The Daleks” strip premieres in futuristically themed comics magazine TV Century 21, giving the titular menaces their first appearance and first origin story with the beginning of 3-part story “Genesis of Evil”. (1/2)

In the tonally distinctive Season 18, The Leisure Hive seems like a bridge between the previous season’s style and it’s own, with a story that wouldn’t feel out of place in S17 and a production that’s trying very hard to make it’s own unique splash

I’m surprised the Megara from The Stones of Blood haven’t made a return in any EU media, their algorithmic pursuit of justice makes them a very simple but compelling force in their debut and I think that these positives would carry over effortlessly into other stories
