No books have been banned statewide. New changes to law provide transparency so parents know what materials children can access in schools. Districts review books & decide whether content is pornographic or age inappropriate. This process protects student safety & parental rights
It’s Election Day, and school board races are on the ballot. Meanwhile, there have been hundreds of incidents of Florida public schools banning books lately, thanks to a new law making it easier for parents to challenge books they don’t like. We discuss at 9am.
