Some Dreamcast games have PC Unreleased versions, internal but functional versions. Depending on the size of the studio, the number of Dev Kits and the number of people authorized to use them, it was easier to make a PC version and work on the DC game in parallel.

Colin McRae Rally 2.0 Dreamcast
The development team consisted of 4 people. They took the PS2 code and ported it to the Dreamcast, which was quick to do because the Dreamcast was easy to work with and the C code used by the PS2 version was easy to compile elsewhere.

The Dreamcast Tower of Babel technical demo impressed journalists who were lucky enough to see it in 1998.
This demo can now be played on a real Dreamcast since the discovery of a build on a Dev Kit Katana. Previously, it only ran on an emulator.
