@WarrenInTheBuff I’m sure there’s a “if you want to make max cash just milk people until they get fed up and leave” argument to be made for some industries, but for any non-psychopaths or people/skills-centric industries I suspect that’s the move. Just set some percent scaling with YoS and go

@WarrenInTheBuff Yep. Year-end bonuses are too far in the future, makes them abstract and easy to forget about. Equity is complex enough that technical staff prob get it but it isn’t a universal motivator like instant cash in hand. “I got more money this month” hits straight in the monkey brain

@WarrenInTheBuff Profit/revenue sharing is basically always worth it imo, at least from someone that’s been on the receiving end and having looked into it for near-future business planning. If you want people to feel and act like they’re part of a team then give them a reason to believe they are
