Excited to share something that I’ve been working on for the past year! The team knocked our overhaul of Fortnite’s locomotion animations out of the park and I couldn’t be more proud to have been the producer for it!.

I’ve finally gotten to deep dive into Baldur’s Gate 3 over the Epic summer break and holy cow! It is such an amazing game and by far one of the best I’ve played in a while. As a forever DM, it makes me wish I actually got to play more 😅.

As part of Native American Heritage Night and to honor his wife, who is native, Marc-Andre Fleury had a custom-designed mask created by Cole Redhorse Taylor. Mask quotes his dad on back, has names of his kids. He’s bummed the NHL has informed him he can’t even wear in warmups

Got to see @AJRBrothers performance in Louisville this weekend and it was frankly amazing. In addition to writing fantastic music, their performance makes the music even better in person. Highly recommend grabbing tickets to any spot on the Maybe Man Tour if you can!.

Hot Take: More RIT students would go to hockey games if tickets were free. If RIT wants to get serious about filling the Polisseni Center, that should be their first move. I’m sure that they could make up the loss by accepting one more student.

Started watching the Fallout show on Prime and I’m so excited for how these cross media adaptions are going. Witcher, Fallout and Last of Us among many properties show how amazing that collaboration can be for story telling!.

Well today starts a stint of long distance for myself and @sydbolan. Although I’m definitely super bummed that I won’t get to see her every day, I’m excited for all the cool virtual dates we will be able to do and the adventures we will have when I come up to visit Chicago!.

Just finished @BSG_DREDGE and it is such an enjoyable game. I'm a sucker for anything that stems from Lovecraftian mythos and DREDGE just scratched that itch. I honestly loved how much I never saw the twist coming!.

I think the games industry could take a note from sports on how the develop junior talent into high performers. You need to surround them with quality senior talent who are willing to mentor and help them grow.

What an absolutely horrendous take. Crunch is a result of misestimation, deadlines that are unrealistic, feature creep and many other factors. Many developers are forced to crunch on games they aren’t passionate about and takes like this contribute to crunch still being a problem.

ESPN having to drop their audio several times because of the crowd being too mic’d up has been one of the highlights for me. There is a sheer panic some producer is feeling as he tries to avoid that FCC fine that just brings back memories from working in radio.

Just finished God of War (2018) and it was amazing! Definitely agree with all the narrative accolades it has received. I was actually so enamored with the main quest line that I forgot to engage with the side quests. Guess I’ve got some mop up to do 😅.

@jadel4w My biggest misconception I see is that producers are in a position of decision making power for a video game. This is highly variable dependent on the studio and I would say the wide majority of studios rely on producers more as advisors than the ones actually making decisions.

It would benefit every clothing store to have a partner waiting area where people can wait for their partner who is trying on things in a changing area. It’s extremely awkward just hovering nearby and it can make clothes shopping with your partner a negative experience.
