Gotta be honest... Character writing quality doesn't factor into a death battle. Cinder is like a permanent Avatar State avatar with infinite knives and impenetrable soul armour. People bring up lightning... homegirl grew up wearing a shock collar lmao

heres my OC (Original character) Nacht Schwarz. Worked very hard on her design and semblance (hereditary Schwarz Runes that can do various things, such as nullifying dust, and un-summoning grimm). She fights using a semiautomatic Zweihänder.

Definitely feel you on wondering if it's worth it sometimes, but then I keep coming back to it so lol. And Spider-Verse and Arcane are phenomenal, but no doubt cost far more than a Pixar-esque style would've, both in terms of money and time

Pattern recognition is a thing. How many rewrites must I read with "RWBY sux, ruined Monty's vision, I'll do it better" in their descriptions before forming an assumption? Most fanfics don't present themselves with such arrogance. it's always the rewrites
