Good point, they do have actively managed funds too. I guess it's a combination of the two. You could probably figure it out if you check the different fund documents where they declare their holdings and compare to the size of the fund. Would be an interesting analysis. It's still all on the behalf of clients buying into those funds though.

@AdamBLiv Not sure about the US but in the UK we can switch providers in the same wrapper. So move to one which is self directed. I guess not an option else you’d have done it though.

President Trump Signs New Crypto Related Executive Order Trump has signed an executive order establishing the Presidential Working Group on Digital Asset Markets, aimed at bolstering U.S. leadership in digital finance. The group, chaired by White House AI & Crypto Czar David Sacks, will develop a federal regulatory framework for digital assets, including stablecoins, and explore the creation of a strategic national digital assets stockpile. It prohibits agencies from promoting CBDCs and rescinds prior policies viewed as stifling innovation.
