I’ve filed critical legislation this session targeting classroom predators who violate the innocence of Texas students. H B1401 will require an educator convicted of an improper relationship with a student to register as a sex offender. This bill is a critical step to ensure those who exploit their positions of trust are held fully accountable and cannot harm innocent children. Our kids deserve a safe environment in which to learn and grow, and I will fight to get this bill passed in the upcoming session. #txlege
