Have made my exit from the ICU. Very close call after a week of horrid days. It appears god wasn’t ready for me. Im breathing on my own now and doing better. I lost 10 pounds during the summer and 5 more this week. And yes that’s my air mattress on the floor that I slept in. I

Took a sick life bad beat. We worked on getting discharged this morning for 2 days and the ball was dropped by a new doc. So I’m here on thanksgiving(8th one in the hospital out of 29 years) alone. I missed my family trip last week, now I told my mom to head 3 hours back home.

Finally treated myself and went and rented a jet ski and went out on the lake my ashes will be spread in. I grew up and live on lake havasu but I haven’t been in the lake in YEARS due to my health and the heat. I had so much fun I could cry. Way to hot but living my best life😭🙏🏼

My mother is an absolute saint. Ten years of time in a hospital 3 hours from home and she never left my side. 💜watching her be able to be a grandmother to my kiddo is one of the greatest things I can witness.
So happy and emotional to see my son live out his dreams after fighting for his life for most of his childhood. We’ve been through hell together and this feels like heaven.

Remember the hospital roommate named BOB I had over a month ago for two weeks? He was discharged a day before me that time but was re-admitted shortly after as was I. So even though both of us were in shitty situation, it was nice to have a friendly face going through it with ya.

Went to my moms house last night to carve pumpkins with the extended family. Sat in the recliner at 4pm and woke up at 1am in the darkness and I was so disoriented not knowing where I was that I reached to call the nurse 😂
