Alabama leaves the most impressive resume on the CFP Committee’s desk:
-Four wins against CFP Top 25 teams.
-Three of those wins coming via double-digits against LSU, Ole Miss, and Tennessee
-Beat the No. 1 team in the nation.
-End a 29-game winning streak
For Nick Saban to lose Bryce Young and Will Anderson and hire two coordinators that some thought were not fit for Alabama and he wins the SEC Championship shows one thing:
Saban still runs college football.
Devonta Smith has more catches (60) and receiving yards (1,120) than Ceedee Lamb of OU (46-999)
He also has more touchdown catches than Michael Pittman Jr. of USC (13-11), but he is not a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award.
Absolutely crazy.
Jalen Milroe’s message to the CFP Committee:
“Was Georgia the No. 1 team? We just beat them, so what does that make us.”
He ended the statement “LANK.”

Alabama is about to bury opponents in the CFP with Will Reichard not getting the Groza, Dallas Turner not getting the Bednarik Award, and no Tide player on the Walter Camp All-American Team.
LANK on full display now.
Dont’a Hightower is the perfect reason why you choose Alabama.

Kalen DeBoer kept nearly everyone in Alabama’s 2024 class except:
-Julian Sayin (5-star QB)
-Jameer Grimsley (4-star ATH)
Very impressive work from DeBoer and his staff.
The Alabama football reunions in the NFL based on this draft:
- Dolphins: Jaylen Waddle/Tua Tagovailoa
-Broncos: Patrick Surtain II/Jerry Jeudy
-Eagles: DeVonta Smith/Jalen Hurts

Alabama QB Jalen Milroe is the SEC Championship Game MVP.
He quotes former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts by saying “we had a purpose before anyone had an opinion.”
How special was Alabama's 2015 national championship team?
The top four seeds in the initial CFP rankings all have head coaches from that team.
1. Georgia - Kirby Smart
2. Alabama - Nick Saban
3. Michigan State - Mel Tucker
4. Oregon - Mario Cristobal
CFB is a league of Saban.
Ryan Williams’ welcome to Alabama moment came from a linebacker before the season:
“As soon as we started wearing equipment, Justin Jefferson. … I had a shallow cross and I tried to juke him and he hit me so hard. I felt it in my ribs and it went all through my body.”
Nick Saban’s decision to bench Jalen Hurts for Tua Tagovailoa in the 2018 CFP National Championship Game was legendary, but his decision to bench Jalen Milroe for Tyler Buchner for USF made Milroe better and has Alabama in the CFP.
Saban continues to enhance his coaching job.
Alabama transfer TE Josh Cuevas with a great response behind the Crimson Tide’s rivalry with Georgia:
“I mean, Georgia is a great team. We all know that. We are going to respect anybody we play, but we are going in as Alabama football. They have to play us too.”

On this date in 2007, Nick Saban became the head coach of the University of Alabama football program.
For 14 years, he has won seven SEC Championships, five national championships & has made the Crimson Tide the most respected program in college football.
Happy Nick Saban Day.
Four of Alabama's six national titles under Nick Saban came in years where the team had one loss.
2011 - Loss to LSU
2012 - Loss to Texas A&M
2015 - Loss to Ole Miss
2017 - Loss to Auburn
It is difficult to go undefeated. Sometimes a loss is needed to reevaluate things.
Nick Saban explains why the 19th home for Habitat for Humanity was built, despite Alabama football not winning a national title.
“Miss Terry changed the rules on me. We won a SEC Championship and beat the team that won the natty, so she said that’s good enough to build a home.”
Former Alabama players to compete in the Super Bowl:
Jonah Williams (Bengals)
Damion Square (Bengals)
A’Shawn Robinson (Rams)
Terrell Lewis (Rams)
All played under Nick Saban and won at least one national championship.
I grew up a diehard Alabama men’s basketball fan.
The team that made me fall in love with the sport was the 03-04 Elite Eight group with Antoine Pettway.
Nate Oats has this team in the Final Four. Greg Byrne, if you can hear me, build the arena now!
He rescued Alabama football to a CFP National Championship as a freshman in 2017, but Tua Tagovailoa accomplished something bigger over the weekend.
He is officially a college graduate.
Some have jumped into the portal after Nick Saban announced his retirement, but a veteran offensive lineman is locked in on the Kalen DeBoer era for Alabama.

This weekend Alabama QB Jalen Hurts will march with his undergraduate degree.
An amazing journey, an amazing story and one determined young man. Nothing but the utmost respect for Hurts.
Most championships in sports since 2009
Alabama football (CFB) = 5
New England Patriots (NFL) = 3
Golden State Warriors (NBA) = 3
Duke, UNC & Villanova (CBB) = 2 each
San Francisco Giants (MLB) = 3
Whether you choose to count 2009 or not,

definitely owned the decade.
People wanted the BCS over because two SEC teams played in the national title game. Now, we have a rematch between Alabama and Georgia in the CFP National Championship Game.
Sometimes, you can’t stop the best programs from the biggest stage in college football.
An Alabama freshman DB and first father/son legacy of the Nick Saban era doubles down on his commitment to Crimson Tide football in the new Kalen DeBoer era.
@TDAlabamaMag
Jalen Hurts ended a 40-year drought for former Alabama quarterbacks last night.
He became the first Crimson Tide alum since Richard Todd (1982) to win an NFL playoff game as a starting quarterback. Todd led the New York Jets to a 17-14 win over the L.A. Raiders in 1982.
Alabama DL Damon Payne on why he did not choose to transfer when Nick Saban retired:

Merry Christmas to all my Twitter supporters. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed providing you Alabama football coverage this year.
Hopefully, you guys enjoyed me doing it.
Alabama has looked like old ‘BAMA in the second half. Tough, gritty, physical, mean. This is what was needed.
I don’t know what was said at halftime, but Saban needs to use it for the rest of the year.
Eyabi Anoma is not going anywhere.
“I made a promise and I’m sticking to it. There is a process at Alabama and after seeing what has happened to others that stuck to it, I’m just trying to help the team.”
The stigma that Alabama quarterbacks do not work in the National Football League ends this season with Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, and Mac Jones.
All three are hungry dogs. Criticism fuels them.
Alabama football players graduating on Saturday:
Mac Jones (masters)
Dylan Moses
Najee Harris
Christopher Allen
Phidarian Mathis

Congrats to these young men on earning their degrees.
Former 5-star LB Qua Russaw was everywhere for Alabama versus WKU as he got the start at Wolf.
“He’s a freak,” Keon Sabb said about Russaw. “Up and down, his body is a freak. He is mentally there. He is something else.”
The redshirt freshman is taking off.

Alabama fans would love for DeMeco Ryans to get the first phone call after Nick Saban retires.

He joins Jonathan Allen (2016) as the second Crimson Tide player to win it.
Alabama freshman WR Ryan Williams put on a show in the Crimson Tide’s season opener.

Nick Saban tried to warn college football, but people are so hard-headed.
It is an absolute travesty that Will Reichard did not make an All-SEC Team. The job he did has been overlooked by the SEC. Reichard was PERFECT on field goals (12-for-12) and PAT's (73-for-73).
Alabama redshirt freshman WR Cole Adams has earned a nickname heading into his second season:
“He’s Mr. Reliable,” Alabama WRs coach JaMarcus Shephard on Adams.

Alabama fans, think about this stat for a moment:
Will Anderson & Dallas Turner = 26 sacks in 2021
Ryan Anderson & Tim Williams = 18 sacks in 2016
Anderson & Williams = 16.5 sacks in 2015
John Copeland & Eric Curry = 21 sacks in 1992
Anderson and Turner are a special duo.
According to sources, I have been informed that Christopher Allen is expected to forgo the NFL Draft and return to school for his senior year at Alabama.
He was huge in 2020 at OLB with 13 TFLs and six sacks. Allen was named second-team All-SEC for his efforts.

Nick Saban gave probably his most stirring, heartfelt press conference in a long time. Tua Tagovailoa is certainly not the average player. He really affected Saban in a positive way.
He's one of four to five players that caught his heart
Alabama WR Kendrick Law confirms that 4-star freshman Caleb Odom no longer a TE.
“Caleb is a wide receiver. He is elite, he is the biggest receiver we have - height wise — and he is aggressive.”
Law’s NFL comparison for Odom: George Pickens. Wow!
@TDAlabamaMag
Nick Saban and Bill O'Brien both said they have seen 'a lot of improvement' from Alabama true freshman wide receiver Agiye Hall in Cotton Bowl prep for Cincinnati.

Chris Owens

We have identified the leader on Alabama’s DL: Tim Kennan III at nose tackle.
“It is all about his extreme faith in God and everyone feeds off that,” Que Robinson said about Kennan. “When Tim is hyped, everybody is hyped. He’s the one we feed off of.”
@TDAlabamaMag
Alabama would have given Georgia a way more competitive game.
TCU getting destroyed like this says one thing: the CFP Committee really does not watch much football.
Do they? There is no way with this performance the Horned Frogs are unequivocally better than a 2-loss Alabama.
Will Anderson is the 12th Unaninmous All-American defender for

under Nick Saban.
Rolando McClain, Mark Barron, Dee Milliner, C.J. Mosley, Landon Collins, Reggie Ragland, Jonathan Allen, Reuben Foster, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Quinnen Williams, & Patrick Surtain were before him.
Alabama CB Jahlil Hurley on why he did not leave the Crimson Tide after Nick Saban retired:
“I’m a Bama kid, of course. Then there were guys like DeVonta Smith, Malachi Moore, and Milroe that could have left, but they didn’t. So, why would I leave.”
@TDAlabamaMag
Despite not winning a national championship, Alabama's defense finished with 57 sacks in 2021 -- the most of the Nick Saban era. The previous high was 54 in 2016. That defense was the most entertaining under Saban.
Will Anderson led everyone with 17.5 sacks last year.
Alabama would be on a verge of a three-peat this year, if Eddie Jackson would have not gotten hurt versus Texas A&M In 2016.
Tide would have beaten Clemson.
Two reasons why Tua Tagovailoa deserves the Heisman Trophy.
1. He has four 1,000-yard career receivers on the roster right now.
2. He has changed the culture of Alabama football, to where it has become more offensive (pass happy) minded.
No too many QB’s can say that.
Alabama produces nothing but record setters in the NFL:
Mac Jones
DeVonta Smith
Jaylen Waddle
Najee Harris
Derrick Henry
Trevon Diggs
These guys are eating through records like Cap’n Crunch cereal.
This is giving me chills and with Nick Saban’s voice in the background... perfection.
