I’ve had a lot of time to reflect 9 hrs into this 10 hr drive home. Crazy to think that a year ago I quit my job with no real plan and little did I know how great of a decision that would be. Lucky to be around such an awesome group.

The 2021 OVC Coach of the Year is Mark Redburn. Redburn earned the honor for the second-straight season. He led SEMO to its second consecutive OVC title and a program record 23 conference wins. The Redhawks outscored their opponents, 165-65, in OVC play this year.

Had the day off, so I finally made my way to Salem to see the Red Sox play. Good baseball with a great view. Not sure how I feel about rooting for the Sox after the ‘04 and ‘13 WS, but “when in Rome” I guess.

As a Mizzou grad yes I am biased. But yes NCAA Officials would miss the punch that was thrown by the Ohio State kid and call the unsportsmanlike conduct on the Mizzou player and cost Mizzou’s defense a fourth down from the half yard line.

So I’ve been timing myself to work and there are 2 stoplights between where I live and where I work. If I hit them while they’re red lights my commute time to work triples. from 2 minutes to 6. Not bad at all.
