Watching these highlight videos and game film of recruits, I have found it is so hard to identify elite defenders! Metrics can be extremely misleading when it comes to Defense! Blocked shots and steals do not always=great D. Max effort is a choice few make, a rare skill few have!

Coach this is awesome! Players think that their position on the court SHOULD be a reflection of their offensive skill set...however we always say, and most college coaches will agree that your position on the court is determined by who you can guard!
When you play the “3” you have to guard a 3.Guarding a college 3 means keeping up with them as they run the outside lane like a 🐎.It means guarding a guy with wiggle with your feet OUTSIDE the 3pt line..not sitting back with your feet under the line like you have all your life..
