Put fewer steps in desired habits, and put more steps in undesired habits. -Leave fresh fruit out on the counter. -Hide packaged snacks in the back of the pantry.

Cant stay consistent with exercise? Try creating a sliding scale of activity based on how you feel. Feeling 10/10? 60min workout. 7? Moderate 30min. 4? 15min walk 1? March on the spot for 1min. 1min is better than 0min. πŸ‘Œ

Choose "better" wherever you can. -1 serving is better than 2. -Pan fried is better than deep fried. -Butter is better than margarine. -10min of activity is better than none.

The bottom line for weight management is: Calories In vs Calories Out (CICO). Food labels and activity trackers use estimates and arent accurate to individuals. CICO happens regardless of what food labels and activity trackers say.

Your body adapts to the conditions placed upon it. If you're immobile for 80% of the day, it will conform and default to whatever posture you hold because there's no reason for it not to. Move it or lose it.

Ask your teenager glued to the couch to come grocery shopping and he'll say he doesn't have the energy. Ask him to come pick out a TV at Best Buy, and he'll be in the car before you. You do have the energy. You just need the reason to use it.
