75 years ago today, my grandfather waded ashore in Normandy w/ the 29th Infantry Division. He never spoke about his wartime experience in France or Belgium b/c I don't think he ever really escaped the horrors he saw that day. Thank you Papa Joe, & all in the Greatest Generation!
