While we are disappointed to learn we will not be in the 2A playoffs, we are very satisfied with our 6-3 season! Our 3 losses came against 2 8-1 teams and a 5 win 3A team! I am PROUD of our Sr.’s and happy they got a W in their last game over Kent Denver!

I am very sad to learn of Coach Randy Penn's passing. He was THE fixture of EHS, the community, & of course Pirate FB for 30 + yrs. 168 wins will never be matched but, his profound impact on so many is what is truly INSPIRING! My thoughts & PRAYERS are with the Penns.

Gunner Johnson was 2 time 1st Team All-Conf. as well as a 2 time Hon. Men. All-State QB. Due to the circumstances of these last 2 years he played in just 14 games against 6 playoff teams completing 112 of 163 attempts for 1,557 yds. with 17 TD's and 6 Int's. His upside is HUGE!
