As a guy who participated in this drill, I would love to see other people try this! It was fun and competitive! Pop time was also in play here. Can’t sandbag the time or throw didn’t count.
I’ve seen tons of ignorant comments in regards to this video. Yes we should expect this throw to be made 10/10 times. Given the situation, I know 99% of the CoachDad/Amateur population would Yip this into CF. Phillies building a culture. Should be every teams priority

On a game where 10k+ plus were in attendance in Starkville. I got sawed off so bad that it forced me trip and somersault halfway down first baseline. “SNI-PER” chants were in stadium wide unison.
I'd love to hear the answers from some of the players around the SEC.

This could be controversial, but I hardly ever give a lesson to a kid that’s under 10, really prefer working with kids 12 and older (I make exceptions). 1st reason is attention span. 2nd reason is kids under 12 just want to have fun playing baseball. (1/2)

I played third base as a young kid. I wouldn’t shuffle my feet to make a throw across infield. So my dad made me shuffle around the entire field until I learned....

Just witnessed a dad tell his son how pathetic he is for grounding out with bases loaded in a summer baseball game. This might be the reason I’m a little “soft” on my high school athletes.... they get burned enough at the house. Love your athletes!

Parents- save your 50–70 dollars a lesson and go rent a cage, or go to local park multiple times a week and let your kid have fun playing the game. Then they will want to get better themselves when time comes.

I think my feelings of Tatis’s grand slam are changing non stop. But some of baseball’s old unwritten rules are the reason the game has struggled to grow at times, IMO. So if a guy has an opportunity to hit a grand slam, he shouldn’t pass it up.
