I’ve tweeted a lot of crazy things. And this might top them all. I really freakin like this ASU team. The football guy in me just can’t help but to root for them. The U of A fan in me is disgusted. Yet here we are. Dillingham and Scattebo are everything college football should be.

Arizona needs juco ball back now more than ever. The transfer portal has continued to limit high school seniors offered at an accelerating rate. We could have DOMINATE home grown juco programs right now that would only strengthen AZ football as a whole. What a shame.

High school coaches should not be hosting or coaching “camps” with athletes from other high schools. Youth camps are different, but current HS players is blatant recruiting. Try and get my kids to that BS and we are gonna have issues.

Biggest win in 3 years today for @PuebloFootball. 43/44 varsity football players are academically eligible at the quarter mark. There’s still much room for improvement, but this is a milestone in our 3 year push to put academics first. So proud of these boys!! .GO WARRIORS.

AZ jucos this is just reason 1000 we need to bring back football ASAP. Juco is about to be the landing spot for an unbelievable amount of talented players who can’t beat the portal out of high school.
Big ruling by a court today that JUCO athletes who play college sports, retain all 4 years of NCAA eligibility even if they play a year or two of JUCO. Might encourage a lot more athletes to go that route.

Unpopular opinion:if you’re healthy and opt out of a bowl game you should not be on the sideline with your former team for the bowl game. Those guys are goin to battle and you’re walking around in a jump suit choosing not to play. I respect the decision but watch from the stands.

Walden grove not getting in at 8-2 is absolutely insane. 5 weeks ago they were number 9. They win out from that point on and drop to number 17?.Expand the playoffs to 24. If not, Southern AZ needs to really think about our future with the AIA moving forward.

60 Pueblo football players completed a phase 1 workout today. Pods of 7 players. Staggered start times from 330-730. Workouts were done safely and socially distanced. Our boys got better today. GREAT day to be a warrior!.

My favorite stat of the season so far: .Academic eligibility got ran for Pueblo football this morning and we had 100 academically eligible athletes in the football program. Only 1 out of 44 varsity athletes was ineligible. Massive improvement from where we started 3 years ago!!.

So disappointed in our current 4A playoff system. To win 7 games and be 10 spots out of the playoffs seems not only illogical but immoral. I keep hearing about strength of schedule related to a schedule that is handed to schools with little to no say in it. 16 spots for 52 teams.

I think everyone state wide had major issues with reffing this year. WE are the reason for it. Society, coaches, parents. For too long too many got away with treating refs like door mats. A lot of good ones quit. The rest are inexperienced. This is the result. Sad for MHS here.
