You don’t know how good I feel right now. Even after a good shoulder session, pushed the 100s for 12, which technically is my reps PR but I’m keen to see what it is when I’m fresh. You can’t convince me that hard work doesn’t pay off‼️‼️‼️

About 5 weeks apart, results of what I think is successfully balancing weight training and sprinting, which is my choice of cardio. 5 days of weights, 2 days of sprinting and plyos, 2 days of long bike rides(an hour or so).
You ever have those moments where you look at a piece of equipment and be like, 🤔 “if I just...then...I could...yeah let’s try it and see if it works.”
That’s what happened here. New challenge I guess, gotta get those reps up.

There’s no secret, everyone does the same stuff. The basics work the best. It’s just about consistent consistency
Ending my session with some playtime. Tried some 1 arm pull ups. The proper ones, not them ones where you hok your wrist. Gotta get up to 10 each though.

Unpopular opinion: Oftentimes people saying this are omitting half the exchange. They’re told, “IF YOU KEEP DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING, you won’t make it in life.” Perhaps not always the case, but people need to stop making it seem like teachers are just haters.

There’s nothing that can make you so happy, but also get you so frustrated and angry, the way self improvement does. It’s definitely worth it when you stick it out though.

I love my work mane. I connected so well with a recruit and her parents that they flew me out to Texas to surprise her for her signing and they took care of me my entire time here. Felt like I was being recruited 😂
