Marje Windfield scored 16 pts in his first game back from a dislocated elbow and Alileyon Ford came off the bench to score 14 of his game high 17 points in the second half as the Multnomah Lions tied their all-time record for season wins in the Cascade Conference with 10, overcoming an early barrage of 3 point baskets by Evergreen State to outlast the visiting Geoducks 108-94 Friday in Portland. Evergreen enjoyed a 47-45 edge at halftime on the strength of a blistering opening 10 minutes that saw them connect on 8 of their first 9 3 pt attempts for a 31-22 lead. Jourdan Joseph had 30 pts in defeat for Evergreen, leading all scorers. The Lions seized control of the game when Keilan Torkornoo scored Nomah's first 8 points after intermission, and they never looked back. Kadeem Nelson added 15 pts, 5 reb's and 5 assists to the win as the Lions shot 51% from the field. With the win, Multnomah (14-8) moves closer to securing a post- season playoff berth with just 5 games remaining in the regular season.

TWO MEMORABLE SHOTS SPARK HOPE IN A MULTNOMAH TEAM ANGLING TOWARD OBLIVION - A 3-point buzzer-beating fling from Keilan Torkornoo to force OT ...and a last second winning basket in OT by Noah McCord on a deft feed from teammate Noah Madsen supplied the Lions with an 86-84 win over Bushnell Sat n. and a renewed optimism heading into the final few games that mark the end of the school's 🏀 history. The win solidified Nomah's (12-7/8-6) chances of landing a berth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference post-season tournament, thus extending their final season. 8 games remain in the Lions regular season There will be no expiration date, however, on two game saving shots from a January Saturday night.

Learn The Lesson - Forget The Event I’m so proud of this group!
In a taunt, foul-filled game that could serve as a preview of a possible Cascade Conference post season match up, the Multnomah Lions nearly erased a 25 point second half deficit but eventually fell to the nation's 5th ranked College of Idaho 98-88 in a contest that saw each team place 6 men in double figures. The Lions Keilan Torkornoo led all scorers with 20 points before fouling out. There were 5 technical fouls assessed during the game, 4 by Multnomah. The Yotes ran their season record to 15-2 and a conference leading 10-1. Multnomah drops to 11-5/7-4)

God Has A Game Plan . . . 🙏🏾
DREAM SEASON JOLTED- MULTNOMAH 🏀 VICTIM OF DECISION TO END ALL IT'S NAIA ATHLETIC PROGRAMS. The Multnomah Campus of parent Jessup University announced today that effective Fall, 2025, it will no longer house traditional undergraduate students or NAIA athletic programs. Ramifications are huge. For the basketball team, a member of the NAIA's Cascade Conference, the announcement allows them to complete what has been their most successful season ever, sporting a robust 11-4 record and traveling to Caldwell, Idaho this weekend to tackle one of the nation's top teams, The College of Idaho.
