Only to have the first base umpire yell “Oh Shut up!” to me. My players jaws dropped. Mine did not. As a female coach, I’m very used to this.

Parents please listen - so many freshmen are arriving on college teams AFRAID to fail rather than EXCITED to improve. Each year - less than half describe travel ball as a good experience.
Please teach your daughters that being yelled at and berated by anyone is unacceptable.

This is my amazing daughter, Harley. Yesterday she had a birthday party at a friend’s house with pony rides. If I couldn’t take her - no one could.
As a coach - I have to miss so much with her. She wasn’t about to miss the chance to ride a pony as well.

Another positive about online recruiting : players giving virtual shoutouts to teammates. I took the time to read a back and forth / watch the hype videos between two teammates this morning for at least 20 minutes. Love it when you use your platform to elevate others!
