2025βs Remember it is a meritocracy and hierarchy in terms of playing time at the collegiate level. The best players play and playing time is not guaranteed. It is a massive mental adjustment to have to perform at training daily to make the game day roster. I honestly feel it is one of the hardest transitions to adjust to as a collegiate player coming from club/hs. Attending training is mandatory, but performing at training is a prerequisite to step on the field. If you have committed and signed, the easiest part is over. Make your training habits in club and hs be a reflection of who you will be in college. Compete at everything that you do. From rondos, small sided games, 1v1βs, bigger games, or fitness. That competitiveness will carry you. Coaches want warriors and winners on the field.
