Me And Big Bro @KahlilBell32 Barely Had Any Offers Out Of H.S, I Went FCS To Juco To U.C.L.A, He Went To U.C.L.A But It Was His Only P5 Scholarship. I Started In The Pac 12 At Reciever, He Started In The Pac 10 At RB. I Had A Cup Of Coffee In The League, He Played 7 Years. Anyone That Knows Or Watched The Bell Boys Know Our Football Accumen And Skill Was D1 Worthy, But Our Size And Athletic Ability Was Questioned. Never Once Did I Blame My Coach, Never Once Did I Think They Didn't Look Out For Me. I Was Real With Myself And My Parents Were Too About Expectations. Dad Even Told Me To Move To Safety So Schools Would Give Me A Chance. Parents And Kids Alike Have To Do A Better Job Being More Realistic. Aaron Donald Had 3 Offers Out Of H.S, Was It Because He Didnt Dominate, No Its Because He Didnt Have Measurables. He Dominated His Way To 3 Offers From Non Power 5 Schools. Coaches At The Next Level, Not All But Alot Are Idiotic, They Recruit Greek Statues And Not Ball Players Because They Think The Can Turn Greeks Statues Into Football Players. Coaching Is Becoming A One Way Street. We Sacrafice So Much Of Our Time, Our Families Time To Try And Better Kids Lives, And They're Being Convinced By Coaches (From Other Schools And Other Parents That We Do Nothing?) Like Serra Didn't Send 40 Kids To School For Free In The 7 Years I Have Been Here. Bottom Line, I Want Every Kid Who Is Capable To Play D1 Football, And From Our Recruiting Pamplets To The Spring Showcase, To Creating Kids Highlights To Cold Calling And DM Coaches From Every Corner Of The World.
