Athletes are going to athlete. Playing multiple sports is better than specializing. If someone is asking you to play 1 sport or not play others, they don’t have your best interest at heart!!!

Great advice! Learn how to play multiple sports and you end up training all year long. This training makes you a better athlete.
My #1 advice to H.S. Athletes 🗣️🗣️🗣️ You will never get a chance to be a kid again. Play all the sports. College bound or not. Play the sports. The day is coming where you will no longer be able to. Very Soon.

Imagine if elite athletes used Track and Field to get better and to learn how to compete. I know a team at @fhspatriots that can do that. Come see me in RM 405 to learn more.
You've seen Cooper Dejean's basketball highlights floating around. How about a track & field sizzle reel? The kid won a State title in the 100 (10.98), Long Jump (23' 7.5") and 4x100 (42.59) as a Senior. Also won a Drake Relays flag in the Long Jump (22' 11.25") and finished third in the 100 (11.05). Probably would have won more hardware, but his junior season got wiped out by COVID.

Track and Field makes athletes better and exposes athletes who don’t work. It’s a sport that’s between you and you.
🦅 Before he was headed to his first Super Bowl, Saquon Barkley was a track and field standout at Whitehall HS in Pennsylvania. He only competed in Track and Field during his senior year. You can’t practice at 70% effort and expect to play at 100%.
PLAYERS: If you don't work hard in practice, you may not ever get the chance to play hard in a game.
