Assistants you can’t attach your ego to your suggestions, right or wrong. Whatever the Head Coach decides, you must sell it to the players like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. United we stand, divided we fall!

Mediocre players HATE hearing the negatives about their game. GREAT players LOVE it! They don’t take it as an attack, they learn from it and get better.

Your child’s success or lack of success in sports does not indicate what kind of parent you are. But having an athlete that is coachable, respectful, a great teammate, mentally tough, resilient and tries their best IS a direct reflection of your parenting.

You can take care of a snake; feed it, house it, give it anything it could want, but it’ll still be a snake. When you start taking care of yourself and not putting every ounce into it, it will turn right around and bite you. Remember that when giving the wrong people your time.
