@Lindsey121985 @ToddSchulman @rpondiscio I’m not sure you understand how edu funding works. Good luck to you.

I’m not sure what answer you’re truly looking for. I’m going to continue the fight for every student at every school, public, private, home. Choice isn’t an attack it’s an opportunity. If public schools have so many issues why? Why do we keep banging our heads against the wall? Why does the mention of doing anything different create chaos? Why? Bottom line our public education system is not working, this should be the biggest crisis of our time but we spend more time defending an institution than the students getting left behind.

@ToddSchulman @Lindsey121985 @rpondiscio I don’t think anyone has been arguing that they are the same.

@Lindsey121985 @ToddSchulman @rpondiscio I doubt any answer I give you will be sufficient. The “what about the sped kids” argument just clouds the real issues. Public ed isn’t getting it done, that’s it, and its not getting it done for students on IEP’s either. The system needs change.

@gilljrus Reading and math for his district, It’s always about defending the system, never the student.

Nobody is saying get rid of public schools and guess what, public schools rarely follow IEP’s and they don’t have to keep horribly behaved children. Having the same argument we’ve been having for the past decade obviously isn’t changing things, public schools continue to decline so it’s time for some serious changes.

@BuckSexton May be years of Xbox talking but this kids name being Big Balls just makes even more confident that he’s absolutely cracked at what he does.

People misinterpret what’s meant by parental involvement. It should mean raise your children to be respectful, hardworking students. That would make teachers jobs easier. Sure they can read at home but if you raise an a-hole that doesn’t think the rules apply to them that makes teaching them extremely difficult.
