Again I will say; time to put some butts in the seats of Chieftain Arena this week! The girls tournament is stacked and our girls have earned a crowd! Be there Thursday to see one of the states best PGs and her team!
Alyssa Schoeneck of Tonganoxie has had a solid junior year for the Chieftans. Schoeneck does it all for the Chieftans averaging 17.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 5.1 steals per game. The junior also had a career high 30 points Friday night in a loss to 5A Spring Hill. Tonganoxie is coached by first year HC Austin Eckert and off to a 6-3 start on the year, already doubling their win total from last season. Their 3 losses being two to 5A Spring Hill and 4A undefeated Eudora. #sportsinkansas

#dailydoseofHudBud that’s a wrap on Disney. Hudson rocked it; rode rides, napped and made a lot of folks smile. Sky loves her 🎢, but the real MVP is always mom. She keeps it all together for everyone all the time. You can’t do this without her! Happy to be 🏠

The crowds for these ladies have been awful. These ladies have it going in. Get out and support your girls basketball team. 3 days. Girls and boys play back to back Thursday. We need to be better to get out and support our kids like we do in other sports.

@CoachGerst You know what’s dumb about coaching. I have used this with my 10u softball girls as a go to favorite. Timing, rhythm, compact. And never even thought about it with my high school guys. No one can get in your way like yourself sometimes.

My girls went and grabbed a second place finish today going 2-1. Won big, lost big and in the game that was evenly matched, dug deep for a 1 point win! Toughness wins and you can’t start to young!
