This moment. She’d been struggling at the plate. Bases loaded with 1 out, in the semifinals of the state championships. Got a 2B after fouling off 10 pitches that tied the game. She poured into tears on 2nd base and rushed me with the same emotion afterwards! #Love #resilience

Seeing my grandmother’s physical face for the last time yesterday caused all kinds of physical and emotional pains like I hadn’t felt in a long time. Today also marks the 19th anniversary of my grandfather’s death. Trying to find peace in knowing they’re reunited. 🥺😢
