The young man values integrity and work. I enjoyed every minute as his coach and teacher. Dude is truly one of a kind, and he represented our program and community at all times.
Jao Ituka has transferred to Putnam Science Academy. Ituka defined loyalty in his three years at Gaithersburg and left an indelible mark on MoCo Hoops. He was in line to compete for the MPSSAA all-time scoring record before Covid forced him to pivot.

Gaithersburg has lost F Chris Kouemi for the season due to a torn ACL. Kouemi was having a monster senior year and was one of the most improved players around. He will be sorely missed. Jao Ituka will be leaned on to help in front court defense.
