June 6 2018 I was diagnosed w/ leukemia. 1 mo. in the hospital, -40lbs, 8 mo. of chemo, then bone marrow transplant in Feb. 32 days in hospital, 18 days on IV nutrition & pain meds, & months of healing. Today Iâm healthy & back to The Hill. Thank God, my family, & @CSM_Football

@JamesConner_ really is the GOAT. FaceTimed me in 2019 during my bone marrow transplant. My dude showed me the light at the end of the tunnel when I couldnât see it for myself. Absolute legend.
A couple years ago James Conner was asked by Steelers ST coach Danny Smith if he would sign some gear for a friend whose daughter had cancer. That friend was GB ILB coach Kirk Olivadotti, who got to thank Conner this week. So great. (đĽ: @AZCardinals).
