You know you’ve got the right group of players when they are willing to coordinate with your girlfriend to surprise you on your birthday! I’m beyond lucky to have all these people in my circle! Surround yourself with people that are energy givers!

Let me make this clear, I love every single player I have the opportunity to coach this year. Do they make me mad sometimes, yes, do they listen all the time, no. But they are great young women and they’ve grown tremendously this year. I’m beyond proud of them!

I have an amazing group of young ladies that I get to Coach every day. Today was a tough with some kids out sick but we never gave up and played hard for 40 minutes. Some people will look at our record and make assumptions about this team and I can’t wait to prove them wrong!

But yes they are using their off hand typically in games. But the way I think of it is like this, how many times does a player get some contact in a game and maybe not get a call. Have to learn how to play through contact.
