This was brought to me this morning in the gym after our season ended last night. Nothing but respect for this team for all the hard work they have put in and all that they have to overcome year in and year out!! Love my boys!!

Lost 17 seniors last 2 years and many people doubted this team and even asked all fall could they win any games. Beating one of the top teams in the state we lost to by 30 just 2 weeks ago puts us 8-4 overall and makes me a proud coach!!

Finished off the regular season at 23-6 by beating Ashville 2Nite on Seni night. This group went 22-1 outside area play beating some of the best teams in the state and going undefeated in T-Town. They have done it through hard work and dedication and done it the right way!!!

Cannot say enough about these kids we took into the state tournament!! We battled hard for 32 minutes. Unfortunately, It just wasn’t enough, falling 66-60 to Hoover. We are so thankful we all got to be part of a truly special journey with special kids. LETS GOOOO000 TC!!

It was an honor to meet President George W Bush, President of SMU Gerald Turner and witness an authentic display of leadership and determination from Coach Lanier and the SMU mustangs today. The guys capped off a great day with a 106-79 win over the Memphis Tigers. PONY UP!!!!

What an effort tonight at Hoover against Hoover in the state Tournament. Hoover broke open an 8 pt game in 4th qtr to advance with a 46-32 win. Our guys were resilient all year and kept a nationally ranked team on their toes all night. I’m proud to be a WILDCAT!!! LETS GOOO!!!
