@SparkyRadio Awesome for Sterling. Beyond deserving. And Holmgren now waits. He’s a HOF coach.

@robreischel @robreischel this is exactly why you kick the pat in the first half. Chasing points early is still literally one of dumbest things coaches do in the NFL. Analytics are BS and will forever believe that.

@robreischel I’ll never understand the coaches who insist on chasing points so early in games. Washington did the same thing today. Almost every team does it now. So rarely does it actually work out.

@wendellfp So drafting players in round 1 and not getting anything out of them in their rookie seasons isn’t ideal? Because that’s what the Pack does yearly. I agree, they need elite level players. They just never make the moves to acquire them and push them over the top.

@DanKasper These same people never offer an option on who to replace him with. In reality, the list of available quality candidates is extremely short. And most are not better than he is.

@HellerSports @rubydog556 @packers I’ve said it for weeks. He is not hitting on his highest draft picks. His 1st round picks do not contribute in year one and are mostly average players. When Ron Wolf was the GM he would plug the holes with vets, make trades do what was necessary. That died in GB when he retired.

@HellerSports @rubydog556 @packers May need Edge? Gary & Van Ness played the invisible man all season. It’s put up or shut up for Gute. If he can actually draft someone in round 1 who contributes in year 1 would be a major upgrade. He needs to be on the hot seat. He’s extremely overrated

@robreischel OL is there as well. Everyone bought that this roster was a Super Bowl roster. This roster was terrible & was coached to 11 wins against crap teams. This roster was compiled at ALDI, Quik Trip and Goodwill. Gute IMO is extremely overrated and should be the one on the hot seat.

@Bill_Michaels I can’t believe you think money paid equates the same thing as talent level. Love isn’t anywhere near the level of those players. The Packers got forced to pay because he played 9 games at an elite level. Maybe he’s Daniel Jones.

@wendellfp Who was the last good ST’s coordinator they had? They had a shot at Rizzi and they low balled him. It really can’t be coaching every year. It’s an organization that clearly doesn’t care about special teams.

@robreischel Robb, you cover this team & have for a long time. Do they just devalue special teams? They really haven’t been good in well over a decade I can’t remember when they were good. ‘96? They tried to low ball Rizzi and he went to NO. It can’t be coaching every year.

@mattschneidman When your paid like he is he is fair game for criticism. He’s really not very good. Played great for 9 games. It’s really starting to feel like we were forced to buy high and may end up selling low.

@mattschneidman Why doesn’t anyone call out the GM for having zero OL depth and have yet another 1st round pick who contributes nothing. I can’t wait to see who he draft this year who won’t contribute next season. It’s an annual tradition like no other.

@robreischel And where is this years version of the GM’s 1st round draft pick that doesn’t contribute? A total fail by the GM to have zero OL depth.

@robreischel And this is exactly where I believe the GM has gotten a pass from everyone. This roster isn’t very good. Who is the playmaker WR? Who is the elite talent? They don’t have one on the roster. The position and the QB were overvalued on a 9 game sample. #facts

@robreischel The only thing he can do is commit OPI or attempt to pull up and try to either get inside position or draw PI. That’s asking a lot. The throw was absolute garbage. Love isn’t getting a pass from me. Lets talk about that as well & his history for being a terrible deep ball passer
