When my niece gets run out of the tunnel with the team ... my night was made.
Not many know this / but my niece was diagnosed with Noonan’s Syndrome at birth and last week they revealed she’s deaf in her right ear.
You would never know. She’s my hero. She’s a star.

Tonight is special mainly because it’s Veteran’s Day and we get to honor those who have served.

AAU basketball gives players a platform and amazing opportunity. High School basketball (in my experience) provides a daily support system and sense of belonging to something bigger than self. Both are important - just wish both were valued.

Coming off my first July recruiting experience, I have absolute respect and admiration for the players! Playing nearly 2-3 games a day for 7 days - get some rest! Take the next few days to hydrate, recover, watch stranger things or whatever it is that you do 🙌🏼
