Bryce Young literally saved this guy from being fired mid-season by running around like a banshee of some sort, finding receivers on broken plays. Never has a Heisman winner had so little help from his play caller.

Nick Saban went 12-2, undefeated in the regular season, year 2 with a roster of 70% Shula players, a 5 star true freshman WR, and a game managing QB.
Perspective:
If Auburn hired Hugh Freeze in 2021 instead of 2023 and we were in this exact situation, Auburn fans would not feel the same way they do now.

Also, it is very important to remember that lodging allegations on twitter that speak to the integrity of others, but for which you have no proof, is a Christian virtue.
I also think my Alabama fan friends will interpret this as a sign of Saban’s greatness. I don’t. I interpret it as a sign that a genuinely great coach (gag me, can’t believe I said that) had friends in high places who overlooked a legion of recruiting violations for ~10 years.
