This week our PALs (Physical Activity Leaders) in grades 2-5 have started implementing our “FUEL Injector” part of our FUEL wellness program- going into Pk-1st grade classes to lead movement activities! #FitnessEquityUnityLearning #FutureLeaders #MovementisMagic #MovingToLearn

Did something new w 3-5 for mini golf. Each group had $35 to “bid” on obstacles in an auction after brainstorming. Buy items, design holes, each S drew a replica, & based on criteria I will choose some from each class to replicate in our “Glow Golf” course this week! #physed

Feb. PALs mtg: PALs will get the opportunity to go into PreK-1st classes to lead movement breaks so we spent the morning learning some fun ice breaker activities like @OPENPhysEd’s “High 5 Bank Account,” & exploring our B3 cards to choose our favorites! #FUEL4bheartsmindbody

“Gate Keeper Golf” w/ 2-5 today! Gr 2 were earning social studies vocab words and 3-5 were working on sentence structure with some “@TheWritingRevol Madlibs!” Lots of laughs, lots of reps, and so much cross curricular fun in #physed

A8) The only story that matters in my classroom is that my Ss are loved, they matter, & I want them to succeed. I want them to say my class is a space where they are provided with all the tools to be successful but feel safe enough to fail & make mistakes . #IAHPERDchat

A7) We do depth of knowledge partner talks at the end of every class to reflect and debrief. My Ss also are great at providing active feedback to each other throughout the lessons. Self reflection is an important piece of our classes. #IAHPERDchat
