Here’s the deal. If individual players don’t rebound and defend, they won’t win anything significant. Jenkins should say to all these young players, you don’t rebound and defend you don’t play. That should be your ticket 🎫 to the court. Desmond Bane leading the team is rebounds is indefensible. We have 4 7fters for heavens sake! Edey, Santi, Huff, Jaren - GG, Wells, Vince - that should be an elite rebounding unit against anyone. The Thunder, Rockets, LA, Dallas, any team with toughness and stars are gonna be a problem for us in playoffs if we don’t make this a priority.

@ohokvontae Santi is a 3, not a 4. He can contest 3 point shots with his length and help defend in a team strategy. Santi defending at the rim is not what you want. Santi with Edey and Jaren is a great unit.

@NotRudeBro @901Burner Santi is a 3 not a 4. He should be contesting 3 point shots not defending the basket. Defense is a team sport. With Edey and Jaren guarding the rim, and Wells guarding the opposing teams best perimeter player, Santi works at the 3 with his length and rebounding.

If Griz don’t get Edey ready for the playoffs by fully integrating him into the plan, they will lose to Dallas, OKC, Lakers, Phoenix, Houston, and others. If we don’t have toughness, rebounding, paint protection and fully utilizing of our huge advantages, we can win regular season games but will not survive the playoffs. These guys need to play together ALOT JA WELLS SANTI JAREN EDEY This lineup has the right mix to complete. Jaren, Edey and Santi should play a lot. Rotate guys in with that group. We can rotate Bane Scotty and Luke at the 1 and 2 We can rotate vince and gg at the wing And we can rotate huff and Clarke smd the big spot. Huff should play over Clarke.

Yeah I don’t get why they don’t even play the same way. It’s like the abandon everything they do and olay foolishly. Maybe they are scared? I don’t know but that was not Grizzly basketball. And the rotations totally killed us. Edey is your best rebounder. Wells your best perimeter defender. And they don’t play. Makes zero sense.. And I like Jenkins. Our lineup of death is JA Wells Santi Jaren Edey It’s gonna be very hard to score and rebound and defend against this lineup. And they never play them together.
