As nights go this has to be up there with the worst. 2 very close 2nds (one beaten by a horse I've previously followed off a cliff), a void race and a 15/2>28/1 no show. Only -3pts but Christ tonight was tough.

Void race. Hope Dundory and Aiden Brooks are both ok, but it didn't look good for the horse.

@MathewForth There's 2 Classifieds tomorrow but both are pretty crap. Will likely be a couple of very short priced favorites in them.

The magnitude of the drift on this one has forced another play. It's 28/1 on Bet365. Can't understand that one. I'll now probably lose even more but I can't risk a 15/2 winner having an SP of 28s 🫣

Cloch Nua and Charlatan were eyeballing each other as if they were the only two horses in the race. There were 5 in a line in front of them and both got going too late.

Rising out of his skin tonight is Rossa Ryan and gets out of jail to win. The race went pretty much as expected and luckily the front runners did eventually crack. Finish the day in profit so a good start to the month.

@silvaspoon6 Think he pretty much stayed in the same position the entire race. The winner shows the difference between a top jockey and a claimer. I'm not convinced by Fentiman myself.

Hello Zabeel was the run of a horse who just doesn't look interested anymore. Jogged around at one pace for the entire trip. Neptune Legend benefiting from a change of tactics and a top jockey.
