Congratulations to Claremont Senior Fellow Michael Anton on being sworn in as the 33rd Director of Policy Planning at the State Department. A scholar and strategist, Anton has been instrumental in defining an America First foreign policy and now brings that proven expertise to the role first held by George Kennan, the architect of U.S. Cold War strategy. Michael Anton is uniquely qualified to advance and defend American interests on the global stage. We at Claremont are confident he will excel in this critical role and congratulate him on this well-deserved appointment!
