@HunterMagi @DrDaveT Samples of the brain could be used to make a cure, see what is most effective. Also if there was anything used to ease symptoms it could be used again.

@HunterMagi @DrDaveT Laws are now put in place against cannibalism, and maybe making people aware of the dangers of both of these.

@Group886888538 @DrDaveT It is possible that there maybe one or two cases still out just not been recorded but with today technology, would probably be much easier to contain.

@HunterMagi @DrDaveT There isn’t really any treatments made for Kuru but there is the use of painkillers, to ease the patient, and to give them fluids, so they weren’t dehydrated.

@HayleyRMNHV @DrDaveT All of our group is from different courses, so we all send in a few ideas and decided together that we all found Kuru disease to be the most interesting out of them all.

@HunterMagi @DrDaveT Quite relevant as it is a similar disease that is more commonly known, so people can get an idea of what the disease is like. Also they both result in a sponge like structure of the brain, and are both the result of contaminated equipment and eating something that is contaminated

@KarasiovaaXo @DrDaveT No, depending on where you look the last recorded case was in either 2005/2009, but it is possible that it is still around just not been recorded.

@HunterMagi @DrDaveT Since our group are all from different courses, we all had a look at ideas and send them to each other but then came to a conclusion that we all thought Kuru disease looked the most interesting out of the ideas given.

@Thomasbaird_16 @DrDaveT It was fairly easy, any website you looked at had a lot of information, and mostly the websites were different so it was easy to find more information.
