Madeline Kaye Lovering, shown, and Krystal Kaley, both residents of the Crown Hill neighborhood, received appreciation at this week’s BOA meeting for their heroic rescue of their neighbor’s pets during a fire in October.

From 11 am-4pm this Saturday, Sept. 14, all are invited to the annual Nashua Multicultural Festival, being held at the Nashua Public Library. This spectacular celebration of diversity and unity will kick off National Welcoming Week with music, dance, food and cultural artisans.

Yesterday we raised the flag celebrating Francophonie and the French Canadian immigrants who played a key role in building Nashua. It flies alongside the Irish flag of one of our other impactful immigrant populations, all under our American flag.

Mayor Donchess enjoyed meeting Mr. McMaster‘s fifth grade class at Broad Street Elementary today, as part of Community Reading Day. The Mayor read A River Ran Wild, which tells the story of the Nashua River and its history.

Jan. 8, the City welcomed United States @EnergySecretary Jennifer Granholm to Nashua at the new @TurnCycle Solutions building. We discussed energy efficiency, workforce development, and the energy benefits coming from the Inflation Reduction Act.
