LEAF COLLECTION UPDATE: Yesterday, crews worked in the Butterfield/Foster neighborhood north of Wheeler, moving west. They'll continue here today, moving west from Swede toward Jefferson. We will win the battle vs. Mother Nature. Track the trucks:

At Tuesday's Planning Commission meeting, the Commision held a public hearing on a proposed multi-family housing development on E. Patrick Road & began its zoning modernization project to align better with the #MidlandCityModern Master Plan. Watch:

At Monday's City Council meeting, the City swore in the 2024-26 City Council and held the first hearing for amendments to the Downtown Development Authority's TIF plan. Watch this #WUITC to learn more:

UPDATE, 6:57 pm: A third break has been confirmed on Clay at Hancock. Crews are currently working on a break on Clay at Paine and will make repairs when finished. The water shut down will extend to Clay at the dead end at Stratford Woods Park. Estimated repair time is 4-6 hours.

LEAF COLLECTION UPDATE: Final curbside leaf collection begins Monday, November 18 in Area B! We anticipate a quick final round, so all areas should prepare now. More info:

TRAFFIC ALERT: Jefferson Ave. will close temporarily to thru traffic at Wanetah Dr. sometime 11/13-11/16 for final paving operations on the #Concept5 Sylvan upsizing project. More info:

Crews will be working Saturday to finish remaining leaves from Area A (if any), then will move to Round 1 collection for residents who rake to the outlawn, which are typically major streets & state trunklines with 2+ lanes. We'll announce when we're all done! (2/2)
