Congrats to Mt. Pleasant Assistant Pro and 2 time City Tournament Champ Chris Gentle, who won the 2021 NEPGA Assistant Championship with a two day score of -4 at a rain swept Abenaqui Country Club. The win qualifies him for the PGA National Assistant’s Championship in November.
We got through the rain. Molly Smith (68) was medalist for the day and recieved a trophy In Memory of Wink McCarty. Molly is pictured with the McCarty family.

Back from hibernation! The Cities will take place Wednesday June 15th at Vesper, Friday June 17th at Long Meadow and the final round will be at Mt. Pleasant on Saturday June 18th. Looking forward to another great tournament.
Cities fact:
There has not been a "2nd generation" Champion. Both Griffin Brown, son of 04 Champ Danny, and Chris McGuirk, son of 65 & 66 Champ Tom, finished 2nd.
Griffin has a chance to be the first this year along with Morgan & Molly Smith, daughters of multi-time Champ Phil.
Trevor Drew also won the Par 5 competition. The trophy is named in Honor of Steve Jackson of Nabnasset, a long time Cities competitor and former City Tournament Committee Chairman.
