@iomeanslife @lauriewired Supposedly, although lots of modern operating systems typically don't use buffering for R/W on removable media anyway.

@ATaylorFPGA @yacineMTB Software engineers don't understand how CISC instructions work, explaining flip flops and latches will completely melt their brains

Is that...Dare I say... A JoJo reference????
#Okami creator Hideki Kamiya calls out the 'shitty leakers' over the Nintendo Switch 2 "I hope all of the people who leaked Switch 2 information, and those who helped leak it, will be cursed for the rest of their lives to always have poop on the soles of their shoes when they get home" "The worst of scum ... [they] should be covered in shit from head to toe and thrown out of the atmosphere... and then stop thinking and wander forever" "They need to be crushed as soon as possible"

@thatguy3357 @TheBonkMaykr @vaxryy 2. I never claimed or advocated for IOS or any closed source proprietary alternatives. I don't use them. I use Calyx which conducts itself much better.

@thatguy3357 @vaxryy I don't care what some guy does or doesn't use. I'm simply making my judgements based purely on the individual's behaviour

@thatguy3357 @vaxryy I really do feel like I'm talking to an alien. It is not unreasonable to want a development team for a project like this to act in a professional and reasonable manner. Calyx seems to manage this.

@vaxryy I can assure you, with the scope of graphene and with it primarily maintained by a singular individual sneaking in deliberate targeted vulnerabilities is not under the realm of possibility

@kmart_gaming @vaxryy Not a question of their ability at all. I think Daniel Micay is very talented. My concerns are founded I just wouldn't trust him in a privileged context with my device is all

@thatguy3357 @vaxryy I'm confident because there is historical precedent for these unhinged freaks with the technical knowhow to do it. I don't want to feel like I have to constantly audit every update carefully to reassure myself

@thatguy3357 @TheBonkMaykr @vaxryy Why jump to the other extreme, that's not what he saying. In this case considering the sensitivity of the data the developers have access too, we're both communicating we would like a piece of software to have some degree of professionalism and standards.

@thatguy3357 @vaxryy So I just have to take his word that's all the device metadata it takes and even if I take your word for it - that's enough to fingerprint a specific user. As for the RAT, engineering deliberate shellcode vulns in components is pretty trivial and will likely fly under radar ...
