Emotional flow of science: Failed experiment —>😢 it didn’t work —>😡 at the wasted time —>😓 the project is doomed —>🤔 new ideas to optimize —>🤩 for the next expriment! Great scientists still have many failed experiments but they can move from 😥 —> 🤩 very quickly!
