In my 40s. She/Her, Autistic, Asexual, I write Fanfic on AO3. Bensler. Barson. Tuckson. All the ships. Okay not all but most of the ships. Fan account.
Listen, I stopped watching L&O shows for a while after
@Chris_Meloni
left SVU 2011. I came BACK to L&O when he did. I've stayed watching because
#LawAndOrderOC
is so damn good. And I don't think I'm the only person who feels that way.
So
#RenewLawAndOrderOC
.
I think I'm in the minority, but I'm not expecting a kiss tomorrow night. I think it's going to be an emotional crossover. I think we're going to get some amazing EO moments (and movement.) But I'm not...convinced there's going to be a kiss.
I'll be ecstatic if there is one.
It's him seeing a small fraction of the pain he caused when he left.
A physical manifestation of it.
He knows her. He knows every expression. Every lift of an eyebrow. Every tight, fake smile. He. Knows. Her.
It hurts. The guilt hurts in a way that no penance will resolve.
I forgot about this prompt I got
'Olivia goes into a hostage situation without a vest or her gun, Elliot loses his shit and SVU and OC squads watch.'
Think I'm going to write it.
You will NEVER convince me that this wasn't C's genuine reaction to seeing M looking like this for the first take. It's too honest a reaction. And they kept it in because they managed to keep the scene going.
No, because...I just keep thinking about how Oscar Papa has seen how her squad is. How her ADA is. How other units are. He hasn't seen how her PARTNER is when it comes to protecting her.
Just thinking about how Olivia knows how to be brave in so many aspects of her life. But not when it comes to love because she grew up in a home where it was never demonstrated to or around her.
She wants to.
She's afraid and doesn't quite know how to cross that bridge.
I started my rewatching of SVU from S1 early (I was planning to hold off until summer hiatus.)
S1 EO always hits different. I'm on episode 3 (the model one.)
Just thinking about how Olivia and Elliot's childhoods taught them that maybe they didn't deserve happiness.
And now they have to have it shoved into their faces that it's okay to be happy.
It's okay to choose happiness.
It's okay to choose each other.
Do you ever think about the fact that Olivia Benson said she'd been shot, and Elliot Stabler just picked her up and carried her despite having a face full of pepper spray?
Can we also talk about the acting here? The way Chris & Mariska trust each other. The tension they can hold in their bodies--throwing themselves into moments like this.
Here you go

- just a silly fluffy drabble.

i would love nothing more than for liv to show up to work wearing elliot’s badge because she grabbed the wrong one when she ran out of the house after a secret night with her man and for fin to clock her 😏🤣
Still thinking about Liv, Love, Laugh.
The three things Elliot Stabler wants back in his life.
Liv.
Love.
and Laughter.
It's been a long, cold journey in the dark away from her. But he's home. And now they can start building something together.
No, but seriously, can you imagine if Captain Stabler was falsely accused of something (like what happened in Peverted) and Defense Attorney Benson represented him.
And they've been on the opposite side in the past and hate each other.
Like a classic enemies to lovers.
Me...all fucking week until the finale:
Me: It's happening.
Me: Is it happening?
Me: It is happening, right?
Me: IT'S HAPPENING.
Me: But...is it happening?
Me:
'Kathy loved her.'
Yeah, because she wasn't a threat.
And that tells you all you need to know about Tia.
Olivia was STILL a threat--an ocean away and with a decade of space.
My muse: What if they're childhood friends who have taken very different paths in life but are always loyal to each other.
Me to my muse: STOP it. We have enough ideas.
I'm rewatching last night's
#LawAndOrderOC
. And I can't get over how fucking good the writing, directing, acting, everything is on the show.
Also, I adore the dynamic between
@DaniMoneTruitt
and
@Chris_Meloni
. They are so damn good.
This season has been next level.

Thinking about a mob!au where Detective Benson, in the course of a case, winds up doing a favour for a childhood friend turned mob boss...who returns the favor a few months later during the WL arc.
I'm thinking a couple who married young, got divorced, and haven't seen each other in years.
They're brought together when one transfers to the college where the other works.
Level of angst? Well, I'm listening to this while I think over this idea:
Note to self: write a fic where Elliot here's the OC squad talking about various things that Olivia has done and that's how he finds out about..certain stuff.
So, next week we get the first trailer for the crossovers, right? Because the first crossover is the 11th, which means next week we get the promo for it.
Am I about to write a Jelliot featuring the new detective? Yes. Yes I am.
Because I just need Olivia to be really, really interested in the new detective.
Am I the only one who's kinda excited to see how this bx9(is that it?) arc plays out? DG has done so well with writing/continuity. I think it's going to be epic.
something about ms. detective olivia benson jumping out during the christmas episode and knowing that one things for certain, she’ll always find a way to give this man the stability he needs.
I watched the OC episode while I had breakfast. From the way the TL reacted last night, I expected the Kathy thing to be More.
It was literally five seconds of her in a hospital gown.
The man has PTSD, likely triggered by that car explosion & his mother forgetting Kathy died.
I'm just...I'm seeing this story idea forming in my mind around this.
Either a complete or partial au.
Or, an undercover op.
I'm leaning towards some kind of au where she's the wife of *insert someone* and he's her bodyguard (potentially undercover.)
A new mafia!au idea that I'm playing with.
When a bounty pops up for Captain Olivia Benson on the dark web, every person who bids on the job seems to wind up in the morgue before they can collect.
No, but like...this is a man who never bought gifts for his wife and kids.
But he KNOWS what to get her. Knows how to get her a gift that means something to both of them.
And for a long time, I'd wager he was the only person who'd ever given her a meaningful gift.
Do you ever stop and think about how Elliot Stabler has a 'liv, love, laugh' ornament?
He said he was going to treasure it.
Liv.
He said he was going to treasure her.
Every week I'm left with the same thoughts about
#LawAndOrderOC
--it's superior . They are killing it with the story arcs this season.
Also...I fucking love the friendship between Ayanna and Elliot.
@DaniMoneTruitt
and
@Chris_Meloni
are acting the hell out of these episodes.
"It’s the equivalent of an Easter egg for the character: here’s the answer, if you want to know. The only way Olivia Benson knows that he was a carrot in the Thanksgiving pageant is if she talked to his mother."
