NOPE - being a "stupid moron" is not a crime, otherwise 20% of the population would be in jail. Cops are supposed to de-escalate situations not the reverse. The kid was standing there for about 10 seconds with his arms crossed before the cop needlessly attacked him. The kid was in a completely neutral stance and not being at all physically aggressive or acting in a violent manner. And then, there was the CLASSIC: "Stop Resisting, Stop Resisting" 😆😂🤣😂😆 PRICELESS 🙌👍🙌 My prediction is a $200,000 out-of-court settlement with the officer being reprimanded, and possibly dismissed if there is a prior history of continued abusive and aggressive behavior.

Unless there was some previous physical touching not recorded by the body cam(s), the officer had no legitimate reason to physically assault this punk. The kid who's obviously still in high school is 6 inches shorter, about 80 lbs. lighter, and at least 12 years younger. The cop should've called in for a Code 7, taken off his gear, and handled the matter like a man and not leg swept the kid into a car. At least that way, the Police Force and the Village would not be involved with a lawsuit. This matter will result in a Civil Rights violation and litigation for use of Excessive Force and Illegal Arrest. If this cop can't tolerate some stupid little wisecracking kid, then he shouldn't be on the streets. Regardless, someone is gonna get a free ride for college all thanks to an overreaction by some ego-tripping @$$🤡 who was baited by a kid.
